Metformin slows the rapid absorption of sugar from meals into the bloodstream, giving the body more time to handle it. Voglibose activates the pancreas to release more insulin. Glimepiride reduces the sugar production in the liver and makes the body’s cells respond better to insulin. Together, they help keep blood sugar levels steady, especially after meals.
