How Acelopara Tablet works

Aceclofenac is a medicine that helps reduce swelling and pain. It works by blocking a protein called COX-2, which lowers the amount of chemicals like PGE2, IL-1β, and TNF – these are things in our body that cause pain and swelling. It also stops certain white blood cells (called neutrophils) from sticking to blood vessels, which helps reduce more damage. Plus, it helps protect the soft tissue in your joints (called cartilage) by helping make something called glycosaminoglycan, which keeps your joint healthy. A part of this medicine, called 4’- hydroxyaceclofenac, also helps protect the cartilage by lowering harmful enzymes and keeping special cells called chondrocytes safe. Paracetamol is a medicine that helps with pain and fever. It works by blocking a protein called COX, which is one of the reasons you feel pain or get a fever when you’re sick.

Safety Measures and Warning

📌 1- Allergy/Hypersensitivity

If you have previously had an allergy to this medicine, inform your doctor.

📌 2- Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, inform your doctor, as this medicine is not safe during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester.

📌 3- Alcohol Abuse

If you are a chronic alcohol drinker, then avoid taking paracetamol with this medicine because paracetamol can be harmful instead of beneficial, as alcohol depletes the toxin purifier called glutathione present in the liver. Because of this, the body is unable to eliminate paracetamol, causing it to accumulate and result in toxicity. Avoid consuming alcohol if you are taking paracetamol.

📌 4- Liver Disease

If you have any liver disease, avoid taking paracetamol, as your liver is already weak, and paracetamol is eliminated from the body solely by the liver. Liver disease can lead to paracetamol toxicity in the body.
