About Aceclofenac (sr) 200mg + Rabeprazole (ec) 20mg

Aceclofenac (SR) 200 mg + Rabeprazole (EC) 20 mg capsule is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, joint pain, and other inflammatory disorders. This medicine consists of active ingredients such as aceclofenac and rabeprazole, where aceclofenac works by blocking the production of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation, while rabeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid and helps protect the stomach lining from irritation caused by pain-relieving medicines.

The dose should be taken exactly as prescribed by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose or use it for longer than advised.

Common side effects include stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, and bloating. In rare cases, it may cause stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe allergic reactions, liver problems, or kidney problems that require immediate medical attention.

Taking more than the recommended dose may increase the risk of severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, stomach bleeding, dizziness, drowsiness, liver damage, or kidney damage. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose symptoms occur.

How Aceclofenac (sr) 200mg + Rabeprazole (ec) 20mg works

This medicine consists of active ingredients such as aceclofenac (sustained release) 200 mg and rabeprazole (enteric coated) 20 mg that work together to relieve pain and protect the stomach. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking prostaglandin production. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that decreases stomach acid production and helps protect the stomach lining from irritation and ulcers that may occur with NSAID use.
