While generally well-tolerated, some may experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. It’s important to avoid interactions with medications like warfarin, phenytoin, and zidovudine, as well as certain foods like cabbage, which may interfere with its effectiveness. Always store the medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture, and keep it out of reach of children. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for the next one. Overdosing (more than 4 grams per day) can lead to severe health complications, so always follow the prescribed dosage.
