Children under 18 years old, are usually not recommended to take this medicine because it may affect growing bones and joints. Your doctor will suggest a safer alternative.

Exocin 0.3% eye drops are antibiotic drops used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. It works by stopping bacteria from making and repairing their DNA, which kills the germs and helps the infection heal. These drops reduce redness, swelling, discharge, and irritation. Mild burning, stinging, watery eyes, or temporary blurred vision may occur after use. Serious allergic reactions are rare but need immediate medical attention. There are no major food interactions since medicine is applied to the eyes. Do not use if you are allergic to Exocin or similar antibiotics. Babies, pregnant, or breastfeeding women should use it only if prescribed. Always apply the drops as directed and complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
