Mefenamic Acid 250 mg is a pain-relieving medicine that belongs to the class of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to reduce pain, inflammation, and fever and to treat symptoms of conditions like:
Mefenamic Acid works by stopping the production of prostaglandins that is responsible for pain, swelling, and fever. When these chemicals are reduced, the pain decreases. As a result, it helps relieve period pain and other mild to moderate body aches effectively.

If you are allergic to Mefenamic Acid or other painkillers like aspirin, taking this medicine can cause serious allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the face or throat, breathing difficulty, or severe reactions.
