Zadonase Tablet is an anti-allergic medicine belonging to the category of antihistamines. It is useful for the following indications:
This Zadonase Tablet is a combination of fexofenadine and montelukast. Fexofenadine works by blocking histamine, the chemical that causes sneezing, itching, and runny nose in allergies. Montelukast stops another chemical called leukotriene, which causes swelling and tightening of airways. Together, they reduce allergy symptoms and make breathing easier in a simple, complementary way.
📌 Allergies/Hypersensitivity
Individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to Zadonase Tablet, or any ingredients in the formulation, should avoid the drug because it may trigger severe allergic reactions.
📌 Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Zadonase Tablet crosses the placenta and can cause fetal abnormalities if taken during pregnancy, so if you are pregnant or planning to conceive, inform your doctor about it.
📌 Kidney Patients
This medicine is removed through the kidneys, and weak kidneys can’t clear it properly, which can lead to side effects. Get a recommendation from a doctor before using it.
