Rozulyn F is an oral medicine belonging to the category of lipid-lowering drugs and is used for the following indications:
Rozulyn F work together like a cleanup crew for your blood vessels. It has two compounds in which, Rosuvastatin slows down the body’s production of bad cholesterol and helps clear clogged arteries. Fenofibrate targets a different type of fat called triglycerides and boosts good cholesterol, improving blood flow.
📌 Pregnancy
Fenofibrate can harm a developing fetus, with animal studies showing growth and skeletal issues and due to limited human data, it’s avoided in pregnancy unless essential, and medical advice is required.
📌 Breastfeeding
Trace amounts of Rozulyn F can pass through breast milk. Tell your health care provider if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. Your health care provider will let you know if you should stop breastfeeding or stop fenofibrate.
📌 Kidney and Liver Problems
Rozulyn F can affect the liver’s functioning by causing changes in liver enzymes and can lead to severe toxicity and liver damage. So, take the medicine only when the doctor recommends it.
Alcohol and smoking can interact with the medicine, simultaneously affecting the drug’s action, and can cause an increase or decrease in the drug’s action.
Avoid taking Rozulyn F with the following medicines, as it may increase or decrease the desired effect, or in worse cases, it could be fatal:

📌 Daily dose
Take Rozulyn F exactly as your doctor recommends. The dose may change based on your condition and how well you respond. Do not take more than prescribed without consulting your doctor.
📌 Missed Dose
If you forget to take your medicine, take the medication as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Always consult the doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

It is not recommended to take more than 40 mg of rosuvastatin and 160 mg of fenofibrate per day, as it may cause severe overdosing effects like liver damage, kidney damage, pancreatitis, muscle problems, nausea, and muscle problems. If you face any of the severe effects, consult the doctor.
