This drug contain ranitidine 150 mg . Ranitidine used in heartburn and acid reflux .

Ranitidine reduces the secretion of gastric acid by reversible binding to histamine (H2) receptors, which are found on gastric parietal cells. This process leads to the inhibition of histamine binding to this receptor, causing the reduction of gastric acid secretion.

Drug food interaction : Ranitidine may interact Drinking alcohol and nicotine (tobacco) may cause dehydration and elevate stomach acid levels, thereby decreasing its efficacy.,,Cranberries: The interaction of Ranitidine with cranberries may reduce the effectiveness of the drug,,Ranitidine should be avoided while taking alcohol because it increases the alcoholic effect and causes rapid heartbeat.

Drug disease interaction : Ranitidine should not be given in patients with gastric bleeding, liver/ kidney disease, low vitamin B12, hypokalemia and depression.

Do not exceed or skip a dose. If a dose is missed, take the medication as soon as it is remembered.,,If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dosing schedule.,,Do not double the dose at a time to compensate for a missed dose
