Zin is an oral medicine belonging to the category of antitubercular medicine and this medicine is used to treat tuberculosis and other forms of tuberculosis outside the lungs like in bones, joints, or kidneys
Zin works by stopping the growth of the bacteria that cause tuberculosis. It enters the bacteria and becomes active in acidic conditions (like inside infected cells), killing the bacteria or stopping them from multiplying. This helps clear the infection faster when used with other TB medicines.
