This drug contain Zoledronic acid 4 mg / 5 ml | 5 ml.

Zoledronic acid 4 mg/5ml is an injectable medication that belongs to a class of drugs called bisphosphonates. It is used to treat bone problems such as osteoporosis, Paget's disease, and bone metastases from cancer.

The medication is administered intravenously (into a vein) over at least 15 minutes by a healthcare professional. The dosage and frequency of administration depend on the specific condition being treated and the patient's medical history.

Zoledronic acid works by slowing down the activity of bone cells that break down bone tissue. This helps to maintain bone density and strength, reducing the risk of fractures and other complications associated with bone disorders.

Like all medications, zoledronic acid can cause side effects. Some of the most common side effects include flu-like symptoms such as fever, fatigue, and muscle aches, as well as nausea and vomiting. Rare but serious side effects may include kidney problems, severe bone, joint or muscle pain, and eye problems such as inflammation of the eye or vision changes.
