This is an antibiotic drug ie. Cefoperazone 1000 mg + sulbactam 500 mg.

cefoperazone 1000 mg + sulbactam 500 mg is a combination of two medicines: Cefoperazone and Sulbactam. Cefoperazone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefoperazone against bacteria.

Urinary Tract Infections,,Respiratory tract infections :bronchitis,pneumonia,,Ear, nose and throat infections,,Skin and soft tissue infections.

Cefoperazone Sulbactam Injection is a medicine that is used for the treatment of Urinary Tract Infection, Bacterial Infections, Skin Or Soft Tissue Infections, Bacterial Infection Of The Respiratory Tract, Peritonitis, Endometritis and other conditions.

Diarrhea,, Abnormal liver function tests,, Allergic reaction,, Anemia (low number of red blood cells).

Drug-Drug Interactions: Cefoperazone 1000 mg + sulbactam 500 mg is may have interaction with a diuretic (furosemide), anticoagulants (warfarin), other antibiotics (gentamicin).

Drug-disease interactions: cefoperazone 1000 mg + sulbactam 500 mg may have interactions with colitis (inflammation in the lining of the colon), seizures, dialysis, kidney, and liver dysfunction.

Inform your healthcare provider if you have any allergies or are taking any other medications.,,Always consult your healthcare provider before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.,,Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Do regular exercise such as cyclingbody walkingbody joggingbody dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Keep the medication in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture.
