Antibiotic

This is an antibiotic drug ie. Vancomycin 500 mg.

Vancomycin kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive.

Bacterial infections,,infections of the lungs (pneumonia),,urinary tract Infection.

Vancomycin 500mg Injection is an antibiotic used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections in hospitalized patients. It is effective against infections of the respiratory tract (e.g. pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, bones and joints, heart, blood, and others.

Injection site reactions like pain,, swelling, and redness,,kidney (renal) injury,,shortness of breath, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk),,decreased blood pressure may be seen occasionally.

Warning :It should be taken slowly via a drip. Fast infusion can lead to reactions such as low blood pressure, wheezing, shortness of breath or itching. Inform your doctor if you have a history of an allergic reaction to this medication in the past. Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function and your hearing while you are taking this medicine. Some people may be advised blood tests to check the level of this medicine in their blood. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Drug drug interaction: VANCOMYCIN is interact with antibiotics amikacin,amphotericin B,capreomycin,gentamicin,bacitracin),,blood thinner :warfarin), diuretics (furosemide),anti-diabetes drugs (metformin,insulin-glargine), vaccines(cholera vaccine, BCG vaccine, typhoid vaccine),oestrogen(ethiynl-estradiol), NSAIDS (ketorolac), antacids (pantoprazole).,,

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid fatty foods, alcohol, and caffeine with VANCOMYCIN. ,,

Drug-Disease Interaction: VANCOMYCIN is known to interact with colitis, ototoxicity, renal dysfunction, neutropenia, GI inflammation.

Please inform your doctor if you are preagnant or if you are a nursing mother for avoid unpleasent side effects of tinidazole . do not consume alcohol while taking tinidazole tablets.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection harder to treat.

Do regular exercise such as cyclingbody walkingbody joggingbody dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight
