This is an antihistamine drug ie Cyproheptadine 2 mg.

Cyproheptadine is works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes suring an allergic reaction.This drug also blocks another natural substance in your body serotonin.This drug shounld not be used in newborn or premature infants.

Cyproheptadine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes,runny nose, itching eyes,nose,sneezing,hivesand itching.Cyproheptadine may be used alone or with other drugs. It is not known if cyproheptadine is safe and effective in children younger than 2 years.

Drowsiness,,dizziness,,blurred vision,,constipation,,dry mouth/nose/throat.

Warning : Before taking cyproheptadine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to it,or if you have any other allergies.This product may contain inactive ingredients,which can cause allergic reactions or others problems .

Drug drug interaction : Cyproheptadine may interact with drug that cause drowsiness such as opoid pain or cough relievers,,alprazolam,,lorazepam,zolpidem,, and muscle relaxants or other antiistamines: cetirizine,diphenhydramine.

Drug food interaction : Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of cyproheptadine such as dizziness,drowsiness and difficult to concentrating.

Drug disease interaction : Cyproheptadine may interact with increased intraocular pressure,asthma,other chronic breathing disorders, or thyroid dysfunction.

Take Cyproheptadine as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor.,,Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness.,,Avoid consuming alcohol while taking cyproheptadine, as it may caause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.

Consult your doctor before taking cyproheptadine ,if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy .Please inform your doctor before taking cyproheptadine if you have a breastfeeding baby.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Shake the bottle well before each use.,,Measure the correct amount of syrup using the measuring cup or spoon provided with the medication.,,Take the syrup by mouth, with or without food.,,Follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider.,,If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.,,Do not stop using the medication without first talking to your healthcare provider
