This drug contain teneligliptin 20 mg it is an antidiabetic drug.

Teneligliptin 20 mg Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus also known as Diabetes Mellitus .

Hypoglycemia (such as lightheadedness, sweating, dizziness, fainting, and dry mouth)

Do regular exercise such as cycling, walking, jogging, dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Maintain a low fat and a low sugar diet. Replace carbohydrates containing foods with whole grains, fruits and vegetables as carbohydrates turn to sugars leading to high blood sugar. Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Drug-drug interaction- Tenligliptin 20 Tablet interacts with medicines used to treat diabetes (glipizide, gliclazide, glimepiride) medicines used to treat high blood pressure (atenolol, bisoprolol, metoprolol, nadolol, propranolol), anti-depressant (bupropion, selegiline, isocarboxazid, phenelzine), painkillers (aspirin). Drug-Food Interaction: Intake of excessive alcoholic beverages may increase the chance of a life-threatening condition known as Lactic Acidosis. So, avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with Tenligliptin 20 Tablet . Drug-Disease Interaction: Tenligliptin 20 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a history of pancreatitis/pancreatic disease, heart disease, severe ketosis, diabetic coma or history of diabetic coma, severe infection, surgery, and severe trauma.

It is is best to avoid alcohol while taking medication.Tenligliptin 20 mg tablet safety in pregnant women is not established. So, it should be taken only if prescribed by a doctor.Please consult your doctor if you take teneligliptin 20 mg during breastfeeding.

You can Monitor your blood sugar level with a glucometer regularly while you are taking this medicine. Your doctor may check your liver function regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice).Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing or if you have persistent nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain as Glimepiride + Metformin may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, which is an excess of lactic acid in the blood.
