Taxim 1gm Injection works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall, which weakens the bacteria and causes them to die. This action makes it effective against a wide range of bacterial infections.
📌 Allergy / Hypersensitivity
If you are allergic to Taxim 1gm Injection or cephalosporins, avoid taking this medicine as it can cause serious allergic reactions such as skin rashes, itching, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing, breathing difficulty, or life-threatening reactions. 📌 Daily dose

📌 Missed Dose

It is not recommended to take more than 6 grams of Taxim 1gm Injection per day. Overdose may cause tremors, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, nervousness, dizziness, headache, muscle cramps, or high blood pressure. In case of any of these symptoms, seek immediate medical help.

It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, causing bacteria to die. Common side effects include pain or swelling at the injection site, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mild skin rash, and headache, while rare but serious side effects can include severe allergic reactions, severe diarrhea, liver or kidney problems, and low blood cell counts. It should not be taken by patients allergic to Taxim 1gm Injection, cephalosporins, or penicillin-type antibiotics, and caution is required in those with severe kidney or liver disease or a history of antibiotic-associated severe diarrhea. There are no significant food interactions, and normal meals can be continued, though alcohol should be avoided. This medicine is administered by injection under medical supervision and is not effective against viral infections.
