Silymarin 140 mg is obtained from Silybum marianum. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that protect liver cells from harmful effects of toxic chemicals known as free radicals as well as some other medicines.

Silymarin 140 mg is used in the treatment of chronic liver disease and liver cirrhosis. Liver diseases lead to disturbance of vital liver functions.

Warning : Consult your doctor if you are allergic reaction after intake of Silymarin 140 mg ,if you have inflammation of gall bladder and bile ducts, narrowing or blockage of bile ducts,, improper constriction of the gallbladder, gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Silymarin 140 mg may have interaction with antibiotics: clarithromycin,,anticoagulants : warfarin,,NSAIDs: ibuprofen, celecoxib, diclofenac,,Statin drugs : lovastatin, fluvastatin.

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid consuming alcohol during intake of Silymarin 140 mg as it could lead to further liver damage.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Silymarin 140 mg tablet may have interactions with biliary obstruction and liver impairment.

If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or if you are a breastfeed mother.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Swallow the tablets/capsule whole, do not crush or chew.,,Follow your doctor's instructions for adjusting your dose.
