This is a drug used in peptic ulcers or acid reflux. ie. Rabeprazole 20 mg + Itopride 150 mg .

Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) is works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production. It minimizes the release of acid from the stomach, which provides relief from heartburn and acid-related digestion. Itopride works on the part of the brain that is responsible for controlling vomiting. It increases gastric emp undying improves gastric sensitivity and tension by increasing the stomach's movement and intestines in the upper digestive tract.

Rabeprazole 20 mg and itopride 150 mg is a combination medicine of proton pump inhibitor and prokinetic agent used to lower the increased level of stomach acid.

Warning: Consult your doctor right away if you notice allergic reactions or if you experience unexplained weight loss, stomach pain, indigestion, vomit food or blood, or if you pass black stools.

Drug drug interaction: Rabeprazole and itopride may have interaction with pain killers: aspirin, naproxen,,an antidepressant :duloxetine,,drug used in hypothyroidism:levothyroxine,,statins: atorvastatin,,blood thinner: clopidogrel,,vitamin (vitamin b12).

Drug food interaction : If you take rabeprazole and domperidone please avoid spicy and fatty foods .

DRUG-DISEASE INTERACTION: Rabeprazole and itopride may have interactions with gastrointestinal bleeding,,mechanical perforation, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea ,,liver disease,,bone fractures,low levels of magnesium.

Rabeprazole and itopride should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.Before taking this medicine, you need to confirm your doctor if you have liver problems.

Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or if you are a breastfeed mother.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Swallow the tablets whole, do not crush or chew.,,Follow your doctor's instructions for adjusting your dose.
