This is the Immunosuppressant drug ie Cyclosporin 25 mg

Cyclosporin 25 mg is works by suppressing your body's immune response to help accept a newly transplanted organ(liver,kidney,heart).In rheumatoid arthritis ,this immunosuppressive effects reduces inflammation of joibts abd limits joint damage.

Liver/kidney or heart transplant.

Cyclosporine tablets belongs to the class of medicines known " Immunosuppressant'' used to prevent organ rejection after a transplant. Also ,it help to reduce the pain/inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis conditions and in the treatment of psoriasis. some side effects of cyclosporine : nausea,,high blood pressure,,loss of appetite and diarrhoea.

High blood pressure,,increased hair growth,,swollen or inflamed gums,,numbness or tingling of the hands or feet.

Warning : Cyclosporine may cause high blood pressure and kidney damage.if you have psorasis ,tell your doctor about all the psoriasis treatments and medications you are using or have used in the past.

Drug drug interaction : Cyclosporine may interact with drug used to allergy(cetirizine ,diphengydramine),drug used in anxiety ie alprazolam,zolpidem,and drug opoid pain relievers ie codiene,,antituberculosis ie ethionamide ,,isoniazid.

Drug food interaction : cyclosporine may interact with suppliments that contain potassium and high potassium foods . Avoid alcohal while taking cyclosporin it might increase the risk of seizures.

Drug disease interaction : Cyclosporin may interact with liver , kidney and seizure disorders or mood disorder.

You may need blood tests to check your kidney or liver function.Take some foods rich in vitamin C such as kiwi,broccoli and bell pepper, help improve the immune sytem.

Consult your doctor before taking cyclosporine ,if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy .Please inform your doctor before taking cyclosporine if you have a breastfeeding baby.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
