Paridox is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Paridox used to treat bacterial infections like respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and gonorrhea. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the death of the bacteria. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and rash. Taking more than 400 mg per day can cause toxicity. Overdose symptoms may include severe stomach upset, vomiting, or confusion, and medical attention should be sought immediately.
