This is the combination of drug used in peptic ulcers. ie Cinitapride 3 mg and pantoprazole 40 mg.
workings
Pantoprazole works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for the production of stomach acid. Cinitapride increases the pressure of the inferior oesophageal sphincter, thereby preventing the back-flow of food and acid from the stomach into the mouth.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Cinitapride 3 mg + pantoprazole 40 mg may interact with pain killers :aspirin, naproxen,,antidepressant :duloxetine,, hormone: levothyroxine,,statins: atorvastatin,,blood thinner: clopidogrel,,vitamin: cyanocobalamin,, a drug used to treat motion sickness : phenothiazine,,cardiac glycoside: digoxin,,anticholinergic drugs,,opioid analgesics.
Drug-Food Interactions: During intake of cinitapride 3 mg + pantoprazole 40 mg , please avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
Drug-Disease Interactions: Before intake of cinitapride 3 mg + pantoprazole 40 mg please inform your doctor if you have gastrointestinal bleeding,,mechanical obstruction orperforation,,liver disease, bone fractures,,low levels of magnesium.
contraindications
Avoid spicy,fried and oily food.Avoid sitting continously for long time, it leads to indigestion or increase acid secretion.
