Oxymetazoline nasal spray is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by hay fever. It is also used to relieve sinus congestion and pressure. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages.

Warning : Inform your doctor if you are allergic to oxymetazoline or any other medications. Tell you doctor if you hae high bp,diabetes,difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland,or thyroid or heart diease.
interactions
Drug drug interaction : Oxymetazoline may interact with amitriptyline,carvedilol ,vlomipramine,desipramine.
Drug food interaction : During intake of oxymetazoline limit the intake of coffee,teas,chocolate and some herbal supplemets.
Drug disease interaction : Oxymetazoline may interact with high blood pressure,diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
contraindications
if you miss a dose,take it as soon as you remember.if it is near the time of the next dose,skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule . Do not double the dose to catch up.

directions use
Blow your nose gently.Tilt the head back while standing or sitting up,or lie down on a bed and hang the head over the side. place the drops into each nostril and keep the head tilted back for a few minutes to allow the medicines to spread throughout the nose.
