It kills bacteria, which helps to improve your symptoms and cure the infection. It may also be used for the treatment of severe acne.

Drug drug interaction : Antacids and iron supplements: These can reduce the absorption of doxycycline, making it less effective. Keep the medication in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it
