This is an antibiotic drug ie. Meropenem 1000 mg

Meropenem 1000 mg that helps to treat bacterial infections by killing the bacteria (bactericidal). It prevents the formation of the bacterial protective cell wall, which is required for bacteria to survive. And it helps in effectively treating bacterial infection.

Meropenem 1000 mg belongs to a class of drugs known as 'antibiotics', primarily used to treat severe bacterial infections. A bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grows in the body and causes infection. It can target any body part and multiple very quickly.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using it. It may blur your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Meropenem 1gm Injection is known to interact with anti-epilepsy medicines (valproic acid, divalproex sodium), and anti-gout medicine (probenecid).

Drug-Food Interaction: Meropenem 1gm Injection should not be taken along with alcohol as it might further affect mental alertness and cause excessive drowsiness.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Meropenem 1gm Injection is known to interact in people having a brain or brain tumour, epilepsy, kidney disease or if you are on dialysis.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection harder to treat.

Do regular exercise such as cyclingbody walkingbody joggingbody dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Keep the medication in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture.
