lactulose is works by decrease the ammonia from the body into the colon where it is removed from the body.

Lactulose is a form of sugar used to treat contipation.laculose is broken down in the colon into products that pull water out from the body and into the colon. Lactulose is also used to decrease the amount of ammonia in the blodd of patients having liver disease.

Drug disease interaction : lactulose is may contraindicated with some conditions like intestinal obstruction and galactosemia ie. galactose indigestion disorders.

Eat more fiber in your diet. Recommended daily intake is 20-35g.Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.Exercise regularly .
