Linospan 600mg Infusion is an oral antibiotic belonging to the class of oxazolidinones and is used to treat the following conditions:
It works by binding to the bacterial ribosome, the part of the bacteria that makes proteins. By blocking protein production, the bacteria cannot grow, reproduce, or repair themselves, which eventually kills them. Unlike many other antibiotics, Linospan 600mg Infusion is especially effective against Gram-positive bacteria, including resistant strains like MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and VRE (vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus).
