This drug contain Furosemide 10 mg.

Furosemide is works by increasing the amount of urine that is passed out from the kidneys. Furosemide is effectively reduces excess fluid levels in the body and treats swelling associated with heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease.,,This reduces the pressure on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, Furosemide helps to lower high blood pressure, reducing the chances of heart attack or stroke.

Furosemide is a loop diuretics used to treat oedema. It may also be used in the treatment of extremely high blood pressure that may lead to life-threatening conditions (hypertensive crisis).

Frequent urination,,Feeling thirsty,,Dry mouth,,Headache,,Feeling confused or dizzy,,nausea,,vomiting.

Warning: Consult your doctor if you notice any allergic reaction,If you have low blood pressure,,liver disease, diabetes, any difficulty to urinate.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Furosemide is may interact with anti-cancer medications,,aminoglycoside ,, antibiotics: amikacin,,gentamicin,neomycin,streptomycin, tobramycin,,antiarrhythmic: amiodarone,,dronedarone,,antipsychotic,,diuretic: ethacrynic acid,,opioids: levomethadyl acetate,,anti-manic: lithium,,skeletal muscle relaxants: tizanidine.

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid alcohol consumption during intake of furosemide because it may worsen the side effects like sleepiness and shakiness.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Furosemide may contraindicated with some disease like ototoxicity,,chronic liver or kidney disease,,electrolyte abnormalities,,low blood pressure,,certain autoimmune diseases.

Monitor your blood pressure daily, and if there is fluctuation,,immediately contact the doctor.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for baby and if you have a breast feeding baby , but should be taken only after consulting a doctor.
