interactions
Drug-Drug Interaction: itopride 50 mg may have interaction with anticholinergic agents: dicyclomine, trihexyphenidyl, ipratropium, belladonna alkaloids, benztropine mesylate, flavoxate, atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine.
Drug- Food Interaction: Itopride 50 mg may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with itopride 50 mg as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Drug-Disease Interaction: Itopride 50 mg is contraindicated in patients with Parkinson’s disease,,gastrointestinal hemorrhage,,Lapp lactase deficiency,,galactose intolerance,, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Itopride may cause diarrhea Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor.
