This drug contain: Doxylamine 10 mg + pyridoxine 10 mg.

This is the combination of two drugs used in nausea and vomiting. Doxylamine belongs to the class of antihistamines that works by blocking the histamine in the body, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting.Pyridoxine works by increasing the level of vitamin B6 in the body and helps in treating nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy

doxylamine 10 mg + pyridoxine 10 mg is used to treat nausea ,,vomiting during pregnancy.

Warning : Consult your doctor if you have asthma, increased eye pressure, narrow-angle glaucoma, stomach ulcer, a blockage in your digestive tract, liver or kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are taking medicines for depression, sleeping medicines, or painkillers .

Drug-Drug Interactions: Doxlamine and pyridoxine may have an interaction with aripiprazole,,diphenhydramine.

Drug-Food Interactions: During intake of doxylamine and pyridoxine you must take a healthy diet that includes fruits, vegetables, lean meats, skinless poultry, nuts, fish, whole grains, plant-based oils, and low-fat dairy products.,,Do not consume greasy or oily foods as they cause nausea and vomiting.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Consult your doctor before taking the docylamine and pyridoxine if you have had depression, asthma, liver disease, or glaucoma.

Do not take doxylamine and pyridoxine ,if you take monoamine oxidase inhibitors (anti-depressant drugs) in the past 14 days as it can leads to sudden fall in blood pressure and also it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.

Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or if you are a breastfeed mother.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Swallow the tablets /capsule whole, do not crush or chew.,,Follow your doctor's instructions for adjusting your dose.
