This is the combination of drug used in peptic ulcers. ie Clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg.
Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that decreases abnormal activity in the brain. It interferes with the chemical messenger's activity that passes messages to the brain cells, providing a calming effect and relaxing muscles. Clidinium is an anticholinergic that acts by decreasing stomach acid production. It helps to provide relief from stomach spasms and cramps.

Clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg is ‘gastrointestinal agents’ used in the treatment of peptic ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and swelling in the intestine.

Warning : Consult your doctor if you give clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg to elder patients it may cause serious side-effects such as anxiety and confusion.
Drug-drug interactions: clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg is may interact with antacids, an anticoagulant : warfarin,,antipsychotic medications: chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, and thioridazine,,antidepressants: isocarboxazid,,linezolid,,methylene blue,,phenelzine,,selegiline,and tranylcypromine.
Drug-food interactions: During intake of clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg,please avoid foods such as high-fat food, spicy food, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea, and soda. Avoid deep-fried and spicy foods.Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase drowsiness.
Drug-disease interactions: clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg should be contraindicated with glaucoma,,enlarged prostate,,a blockage of your bladder that causes problems with urination,,liver and kidney problems.
Clidinium 2.5 mg + chlordiazepoxide 5 mg may be habit-forming,so take it with proper doctor guidlines.
