This is an antihistamine drug ie Ebastine 10 mg.

Ebaine works by inhibiting the action of histamine a natural substance produced by he body during an allergic reaction and improves allergic symptoms like watery eyes,throat irritation,sneezing.

Runny nose,, watery eyes,,sneezing,,allergic rhinitis.

Ebastine is an effective anti-allergic medicine used to relieve the symptoms caused by allergic reactions such as hay fever or urticaria (hives). Ebastine having major and minor side effects for ebastine : headache,,dry mouth,,drowsiness,,abdominal pain,,nausea,,indigestion,,noebleed,,weakness.

Warning : It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less than the recommended dose. Do not stop taking this medication suddenly without talking to your doctor first, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms...If you experience any side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, or blurred vision, do not operate heavy machinery or drive a vehicle. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it can increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness.,,If you have a history of liver or kidney disease, heart problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking this medication.

Drug drug interaction : Ebastine may interact with ondansetron,cetirizine,erythromycin,ketoconazole,chlorpheniramine..

Drug food interaction : Avoid alcohol during intake of ebastine for avoiding side effects.

Drug disease interaction : It may interact with liver and renal disease . inform your doctor before taking ebastine.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember .if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose , then the missed dose can be skipped .Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

Ebastine is not safe for use in pregnant women unless necessary.All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.your doctor may prescribe an alternative medicine based on your clinical condtition.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
