Con B Lotion is a combination lotion. Con B Lotion used to treat fungal infections on the skin, especially when they cause redness, itching, swelling, or irritation. It is effective against fungal infections on the feet, groin area, and other parts of the skin. It contains two main ingredients: clotrimazole, which works by destroying the skin of the fungus and stopping its growth and beclomethasone, a steroid that reduces inflammation, swelling, redness, and severe itching, giving quick relief from discomfort. Common side effects of Con B Lotion include mild burning, stinging, dryness, or redness at the application site. Rarely, cream/ lotion is used for too long or on large areas, it may cause skin thinning, stretch marks and bruising. Always use this cream/lotion exactly as prescribed, apply a thin layer on the affected area after cleaning and drying it, and avoid using it on open wounds or near the eyes. Do not cover the area with tight bandages unless told by a doctor, and do not use it longer than advised because steroids can cause harm if overused.

Con B Lotion works by combining the antifungal action of clotrimazole with the anti-inflammatory effect of beclomethasone. Clotrimazole kills or stops the growth of fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. This weakens and damages the fungal cell, leading to its death. Beclomethasone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation by blocking the release of chemicals that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Together, this combination not only eliminates fungal infection but also provides quick relief from symptoms like itching, irritation, and redness, promoting faster healing and comfort.
📌 Allergy/Hypersensitivity
If you have an allergy to clotrimazole or other antifungal medicines, inform your doctor before use.
📌 Pregnancy
This combination should be used with caution during pregnancy and only if clearly prescribed by a doctor. Prolonged or excessive use of corticosteroid-containing creams during pregnancy may affect fetal growth. Always consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive.
