This is an anticholinergic drug ie. Dicyclomine 10 mg.

Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic medication. It works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Irritable bowel syndrome,,stomach and intestinal cramping

Dicyclomine 10 mg is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergics drug . It relieves muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract by blocking the activity of a certain natural substance in the body.

Dizziness,Drowsiness,,weakness,,blurred vision,,dry eyes,,dry mouth,,nausea,,constipation,,abdominal bloating.

Warning : If your doctor prescribe you dicyclomine for a long time, You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it.

Drug drug interaction : Dicyclomine may interact with diphenhydramine, antipsychotics and some antidepressants and some antacids,metoclopramide ,glucoma medications .

Drug food interaction : Alcohol may interact with dicyclomine ,if you take alcohol with dicyclomine it may cause dizziness and increase drowsiness.

Drug disease interaction : Dicyclomine may contraindicated with some disease ie. glucoma,infectious diarrhea,ulcerative colitis,coronart artery disease,gastroesophageal reflux,hypertension,renal impairment.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed oneTake a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking dicyclomine, call your doctor. Do not breast-feed while taking this medication.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Swallow the tablets /capsule whole, do not crush or chew.,,Follow your doctor's instructions for adjusting your dose.
