Cabgolin 05 Tablet is avoided in pregnancy, as it may disrupt fetal hormone needs, and is stopped once pregnancy is confirmed unless a serious condition like a large pituitary tumor requires it.
📌 Breastfeeding

Patients consuming alcohol or any antidepressant medications should not take Cabgolin 05 Tablet, as it causes severe overdose leading to potential adverse effects.

It works by stimulating dopamine receptors to reduce prolactin release. Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, fatigue, and low blood pressure, with serious risks like heart valve disease and psychiatric changes. Taking this medicine along with alcohol and grapefruit juice can worsen side effects. People with uncontrolled hypertension, heart valve or fibrotic disease, psychiatric illness, pregnancy or breastfeeding should avoid it. Taking more than 3 mg per day may cause severe low blood pressure, hallucinations, confusion, fainting, and stomach upset.
