This is an antihistamine drug ie Bilastine 20 mg .

Bilastine works by stopping the action of a natural substance produced in your body called histamine which is responsible for causing allergic symptoms.

Allergic rhinoconjuctivitis(sneezing,itchy nose,nasal sacretion,,nasal congestion and red,,streaming),,allergic rhintis,,skin rashes.

Bilastine 20 mg is an antihistamine drug used to treat allergy symptoms like runny nise, sneezing,redness of the nose,,watery eyes,itching and rash.Bliastine is available as a tablet.The common effects of bilastine are headache,dizziness,nausea etc. Do not drive or operate machinery that requires high mental alertness taking this medicine.

Abdominal pain,,headache,,dizziness,,dry mouth,,sore throat,,nausea,,vomiting.

Warning : Bilastine tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.,,Bilastine is eliminated from the body through the urine.Kidney impairment can lead to the accumulation and toxicity of this medicine.if you have kidney disease,take bilastine with caustion.,,you should avoid or limit the consumption of alcohol if you have taken bilastine as it may lead to adverse effects.

Drug drug interaction: Bilastine may interact some medicine, it is advisable to consult your doctor before taking those medicines,,diltiazem,,ketoconazole,,lorazepam,,erythromycin.

Drug food interaction : Drinking grapefruit jice or any other juices along with bilastine can reduce the absorption of this medicine in your body.Therefore you should take bilastine on an empty stomach.

Take bilastine on an empty stomach or half an hour before or two hours after a meal. never take more than the prescribed dose .Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms after treatment.

Consult your doctor before taking bilastine if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy .Please inform your doctor before taking bilastine if you have a breastfeeding baby.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
