Antibiotic

This is an antibiotic drug ie. Azithromycin 200 mg

Azithromycin is an antibiotics and it works by inhibiting bacterial protien synthesis (process in which cells make protien), which inhibits the bacterial growth and strop the growth of fungi by causing damage to the fungal cell membrane.

Respiratory infections-Sinusitis, pneumonia,acute bronchitis/skin infection-S.aureus,S.pyogenes, S.agalactiae/ear,eye infection/sexual transmitted disease- Urethritis,Cervicitis

Azithromycin is an antibiotic which is used for treatment of various infections caused by bacteria such as skin infection,ear infection,eye infection,or respiratory infection.Azithromycin will not work for viral infection such as common cold or flu.

Mild gastric upset/abdominal pain/headache/dizziness/nausea/vomiting

Warning: you should not use azithromycin if you have ever had jaundice ot liver ptoblems when you have previously taken this medicine. This medicine is not expected to harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant . It is not known whether azithromycin passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your dotor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

Drug-drug interation- Do not take antacids that contain aluminium or magnesium within 2 hours before or after you take azithromycin . These antacids can make azithromyin less effective when taken at the same time. Do not take blood thiners such as warfarin because azithromycin can inrease the effects of blood thinners. Drug-food interaction- Do not take high acid foods ie. citrus fruits and juices like oranges,grapes,tomato products they can interact with azithromycin and affects how your body absorb them. Drug-disease interaction - It may be contraindicated in patients with hepati dysfuntion ie. liver dysfunction.

Please do not take alcohol while taking azithromycin to avoid side effects . Intake of azithromycin during preganancy is safe but inform your doctor for consultation ,if you are pregnant or planing for pregnancy. Generally azithromycin is safe during breast feeding then you can consult with your doctor .

Please do not skip any dose of azithromycin and finish the full dose of azithromycin even if you feel better. diarrhea is a common side effect of azithromycin it may be stop after taken a full dose of azithromycin but if it does not stop and you notice blood in your stool, then please inform your doctor.

Do regular exercise such as cyclingbody walkingbody joggingbody dancing or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Invest at least 150 minutes of your week in exercise.Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking.

Store at room temperature and away from heat and moisture.
