Allegra Spray is a corticosteroid nasal spray used to treat seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis. It helps relieve symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itching by blocking the action of chemical messengers (like histamines and prostaglandins) that cause inflammation in the nasal passages.This spray is for nasal use only and should be used once daily, as prescribed. It is not meant to be swallowed or inhaled into the lungs. The usual dose is one spray in each nostril, though adults may be prescribed two sprays if needed.
