This is an antihistamine drug ie Loratadine 10 mg.

Loratadine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical that is responsible for causing allergic reactions. It binds to histamine receptors in the body, preventing histamine from binding and causing symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itching.

Sneezing,,runny nose,,watery eyes,,hives,,skin rash,,hay fever,,itching,,cold or allergy symptoms.

Loratadine 10 mg is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes,runny nose, itching eyes,nose,sneezing,hivesand itching.

Headache,,dry mouth,,nosebleed,,sore throat,,mouth sores,,difficulty falling asleep,,nervousness,,weakness.

Warning : Before taking loratadine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to it.

Drug drug interaction : Loratadine may interact with carbamazepine,cimetidine,clarithromycin,erythromycin.

Drug food interaction : Limit the intake of caffeine example : coffee,teas,colas , chocolate and some herbal suppliments .

Drug disease interaction : loratadine may interact with the liver /renal disease may be at greater risk for adverse effects from loratadine due to drug and metabolite accumulation .

if you miss a dose,take it as soon as you remember.if it is near the time of the next dose,skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule . Do not double the dose to catch up.

Consult your doctor before taking loratadine 10 mg ,if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy .Please inform your doctor before taking loratadine 10 mg if you have a breastfeeding baby.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
