This drug contain Ursodiol 150 mg.

Ursodiol 150 mg is works in decreasing the production of cholesterol and by dissolving the cholesterol in bile, thereby prevents the formation of gallstones.

Gall stones,,primary biliary cholangitis,,biliary and liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis.

Ursodiol 150 mg is a biliary agents & gall stone dissolution drug. Ursodiol 300 mg is used to treat gall stones and excess cholesterol in bile and children above 6years with biliary and liver diseases caused by cystic fibrosis.

Abdominal discomfort,,Abdominal pain,,Diarrhoea,,Nausea,,Fever,,Cough,,Rash,,Dizziness,,Indigestion,,Black or tarry stools,,Frequent and painful urination,,Weakness

Warning: Inform your doctor,if you have inflammation of gall bladder and bile ducts,,narrowing or blockage bile ducts,,biliary colic,,calcified gallstones,,improper constriction of the gallbladder,, gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Ursodiol 150 mg is may interact with antibiotics: ciprofloxacin,dapsone,,antihypertensive agents: nitrendipine,,immunosuppressants: cyclosporine,,hormone: oestrogen,,antacids: aluminium hydroxide, aluminium carbonate, magaldrate.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Conform your doctor if you have biliary obstruction and liver impairment,,high blood pressure in portal veins,,scites: excess abdominal fluid,,liver encephalopathy.

If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for baby and if you have a breast feeding baby , but should be taken only after consulting a doctor.

Store this medicine at room temperature, away from sunlight and moisture.

Swallow the tablets/capsule whole, do not crush or chew.,,Follow your doctor's instructions for adjusting your dose.
